1. Seasonal Draping: Yes, I use a set of drapes compatible with the 16 season system. The only difference is the size. ‘Draping’ uses mostly polyester fabrics. These fabrics have a tendency to bounce light- which can be a bit distracting. However, it’s fun to compare results to the rest of the color analysis community!

2. Advanced Color Lab: In addition to draping, I utilize my sophisticated color lab, which provides far more detailed information and allows for greater precision in color matching. Although the swatches are smaller than drapes- relative to the size of a face, they provide plenty of surface area. My lab is adept at identifying and working with the 'neutral' category of skin, hair, and eye colors. Some seasonal analysis systems rely soley on warm and cool. In fact, neutral is quite a common category! I also have hundreds of swatches for exact skin matches to identify your undertones, whether they are yellow or oranged based, neutral, or pink or blue cool tones. There are times when people will fall very closely in two categories. I work with you to find the best fit- and sometimes, blend the two into a unique palette.

      You'll discover your season (e.g., soft spring, true summer) along with the temperature and intensity of your skin, hair, and eyes. This helps us identify subtle nuances. For example, a 'bright summer' with a spring influence or a spring with more muted autumn tones. There are many ways the seasons can overlap. That said, some people do fall right into a category. These are mostly who you see as text book examples.

• Closet Edit: My second favorite service is the closet edit, where we literally go shopping in your closet. This is a great way to eliminate what's not working, initiate your transformation, and learn what does and doesn’t work for your body. Together, we’ll identify which colors complement you and how to create a capsule wardrobe. You’ll discover how to combine clothing and create outfits that align with your lifes and needs right away. I have never left a closet audit without creating at least 20 new outfits from what you already own!

• Learn to Shop for Yourself: If you're more interested in learning to shop for yourself, consider opting for the color appointment plus a style guide. My style guides are thorough and personalized just for you—no presets here! I take your measurements, face shape, color and other body particulars into consideration to create a style guide tailored specifically to your needs.

I tend to be generous with my time. That said, I try to stay within our time limits. The shorter color appointments are about half an hour, with the longer color appointments ranging from 1.25-2.5 hours. Closet audits run from 3-4 hours. Shopping trips are roughtly the same. Special Event Styling depends on the scope of the project.
