What is my approach to color analysis?

  Foundation in Color and Design:

• Beginning with a fine arts degree, followed by experience in the art world and working in the design industry, I bring over twenty years of expertise in color, including thirteen years focused on Personal Color Analysis (PCA).

• I use the 24-subseason Caygill method, the 16-flow seasonal approach, and key color theory principles.

• Training in the Caygill method involves succesfully painting each client's skin tone to accurately identify undertones and hues.

• Applying color theory with precision is at the heart of successful color analysis!

• Process:

• I first identify the precise hues in an individual’s skin, hair and eye.

• From here, I evaluate individual’s color temperature, value, and saturation.

• You can be all warm, all cool, all neutral or any combination of these three.

• It is possible to be warm, cool and neutral-in which case it is important to find specific hues that embrace all three.

• You may look great in both gold and silver. Or, you may have a different metal all together…

• Accurate color analysis is more than just looking younger, or avoiding the ‘washed out’ look; it’s about applying color theory to find your familiy and the specific hues in your family that wil give you that undeniable glow.

• Integrated Expertise: Merges the popular method of seasonal color analysis with a deep professional understanding, offering an affordable yet thorough introduction to personal color analysis.

• Yes! I use drapes. I have larger fabric drapes both from a mainstream color analysis system, and my own procured from other sources. I also use my color lab for additional colors.
